Kids Ministry is available for infants-5th grade at both service times.
Youth Ministry is available for 6th-12th graders at 10:30am.

Women’s Bible Study

Starting on 9/8, our women’s ministry is meeting on Monday nights at 6:30pm and Thursday mornings at 9am to study the bible together. Bring your bible and a pen! All ages 18+ are welcome.  

Young Adults Taco Night

Branches Young Adults is hosting a taco night on Sunday 9/14 from 5:30-7pm at Jayden Prewitt’s house. This night will be an opportunity to meet new young adults, build community, and get further plugged into Branches. Please sign up below so we know how much food to provide!

Volunteers Needed

Shoreline Preschool is hosting their annual Back-to-School Night for their preschool families on Thursday 9/18 from 5-7pm.

We are looking for volunteers to help create a welcoming atmosphere, building a bridge from the preschool to the church, and inviting young families into the work God is doing in our community.

Sign up for a 1-hour shift and come have some fun with us! Bring your own family and enjoy the festivities with us — kids welcome!

Kids Volunteer Lunch + Training

Our Kids Ministry is hosting our annual mandatory training on Sunday 9/21 at 12:30pm for all current, new, and returning Branches Kids volunteers as we prepare for the 2025-2026 school year, get to know our team, and seek God's plan for the ministry this year.

Join us upstairs after service in Room 204, also known as the Fellowship Room. Please register for lunch and for childcare.

Men’s Gathering

Our men’s ministry is hosting dinner, worship, and teaching on Thursday 9/25 at 6:30pm. These nights are an awesome way to meet other believers of all ages, be spurred on by an encouraging message, and enjoy some great food.

Newcomers Lunch

We are all in a new season together, so we're hosting lunch after church on Sunday 9/28 at 12:30pm as an opportunity for all of us to spend some time together.

Our team will be there to say hi, answer questions, and hear your story. Please register so we know how much lunch to provide.

Community Group Launch

Looking for community here at Branches? We’re hosting a Community Group Launch on Monday 10/6 at 6:30pm in the Multi-Purpose Room.

At the Launch you’ll learn about our groups, meet other people looking for community, and have the opportunity to check out a group.

Men’s Retreat

Branches Men are heading to Catalina Island October 17-19 for our annual retreat!

We'll be digging into the theme of being anchored in Christ and enjoying a weekend away with solid Bible teaching, meals, and a variety of activities such as paddle boarding, snorkeling, swimming, hiking, volleyball, and basketball.

All of us will leave together from San Pedro on the ferry to Catalina Island on Friday and return that Sunday. $275 covers ferry, lodging, food, and activities for the entire weekend.

First Sundays

On the first Sunday of the month, we have potluck on the lawn at 9:45am. Bring a side dish to share and spend some time with our church family.

As we feed our church, we also want to help feed our neighbors. We host a monthly food collection for the Oak View food pantry to provide enough food for families in our community. Drop off an item or two from this list by 11am at the Connection table so we can help build up the food supply.

Community

Church isn’t confined to a Sunday gathering. It happens in living rooms, around kitchen tables, and in backyards across the city every week, as we share life together as the family of God.
